Description

Coppermine is in search of positive, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals to share their talents with the children in our classes. Our dance classes are centered around fun, promoting self-confidence and learning age appropriate dance technique. Instructors follow a weekly curriculum based on the age of the class ranging from 3 years – 12 years old. Coppermine runs 10 week sessions in the Fall, Winter, and Spring and a 6 week session in the Summer. We ask that our coaches are consistent within the session and can commit to the majority of classes. Our class schedule includes weekday and weekend mornings and evenings.

Immediate Openings:

Thursday: Hip Hop (4:45 and 5:45pm)

Saturday: Ballet and Tap (9am, 10am, and 11am)

Position Requirements

-Lead classes according to Coppermine dance standards and curriculum
-Create a fun, creative learning environment for children and parents
-Maintain a safe environment for children
-Welcome and orient new children and parents
-Clean dance theater area in a prescribed manner
-Advise Coordinator of any incidents or issues that take place during class
-Show up on time and lead all scheduled classes
-Attend all training’s or other meetings as requested
-Assist in training new coaches as requested
